CREEPERS have "creeped" back into fashion

The evolution and recreation of fashion is something else though, isn't it? Remember how weirdly we used to look at punks and Gothic for wearing creepers? lol.
Now EVERYONE is loving and wearing creepers...well most people are. Designer and high street shops are stocked up with different styles, colours and shapes.
I think some are cute, quirky and stylish but I just haven't seen a pair that speaks to me, which is why I still don't have a pair. That said though, there are some hideous ones out there, like the ones worn by Gaga and Willow (see pics below) *pukes*

Check out a few celebrities like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Jessie J rocking them

How HOTT are these blue ones worn by Katy!?!?

Gaga and Willow....I'm still puking!

Check out the different styles:

British Fashion Awards

Last night was the British fashion industry's 'Oscars' at the Savoy Hotelin London. Georgia May Jagger, Laura Bailey, Poppy Devligne, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Kelly Brook, Olivia Palmero, Sarah Burton and Stella McCartney were amongst the rest of the glam pack attending the event.

Here's what they wore on the red carpet:

This is a little different from the usually effortlessly chic style we’re used to seeing her in. As unflattering as this jumpsuit (from her collection) might be...I like it! Probably would have accessorised it with a bright coloured belt and shoes to give it a bit of life. Despite her fashion faux pas, Stella, took home the Red Carpet Award.

 Amber wore Peter Pilotto

Samantha kept her look very conservative in a black dress with a red pumps and a cream appliqued neckline.

Annie Lennox's daughter Tali shone in her floor-length Mulberry metallic pleated gown.

Alexander McQueen's Creative Director Sarah Burton was the main winner for the evening picking up the Designer of the Year award. Sarah shot to fame when she was revealed as the designer of the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress earlier this year. She kept her look simple and understated in a black ensemble and black heels.

Kate Hudson looked amazing, flaunting her enviable post-pregnancy body in a Stella McCartney dress.

Abi wore a form-fitting suede studded dress by Giles Deacon

Palermo went in this hideous grey beaded dress by Matthew Williamson

Alexa Chung took home the British Style Award, voted for by the public, for the second year in a row.She wore this super-cute embellished Christopher Kane number

I like Kelly's gorg satin asymmetrical gown. The gold and animal print combo is spot on! she my 2nd best dressed for the night.

Why is she referred to as the queen of style again? A black netted dress worn over a cream gown...WHY Kate Moss, WHY? Epic fail!

And our STYLE KASE best dressed award goes to...VB!!!!!!!!
She wore a black floor-length backless gown from her S/S 12 collection. She looks so good in her clothes, she makes me wanna own all her dresses!
She scooped the Best Designer Brand award.

Zara got ditched...for now.

So...last Saturday I left the house with every intention to buy the black Zara plaited shopper bag I've been eyeing. Well..eerrr...truth is, I've been hoping they'd mark it down during their seasonal sales and all that hope has been kept alive for a whole year if not more...lol. -all in vain :(
Told yal I was a bargain hunter!

So, before we went to Oxford Street to get the bag I've been dreaming of (literally-lol) we started in Camden Town and as we were walking around, we went into this leather shop and they had THIS baby on sale...I JUST COULDN'T RESIST!

The colour, the detail, the stitching, the leather...EVERYTHING about it just made me fall in love with it!
I HAD to have it!

PS: Don't think these pics do it justice

I still want the one from Zara though, and will keep my fingers crossed that someone will be generous enough to buy it for me as a xmas pressie...lol...*wink*

Here are pics of it in black and brown:

Colour Me BLUE

So...a friend of mine sent me this pic and since then I've been searching for this lipstick (didn't know it was this difficult to find lipstick, of all things-SMH). Anyway, I finally got my hands on this metallic blue (all thanks to another friend who went to New York and bought it for me). Even though its not the blue I wanted, its blue non the less. Thanks Ntee ;*
DILEMMA: Now that I have it, I'm not sure I have the balls to wear it...need to grow some FAST!!!!

Here it is *drum roll* -  my new love :)

And YES, it says eyes and cheeks on the front of the box but if you read on the second pic, it says lips as well (lol). It is important to use a good lip moisturiser before putting it on though.

Not bad hey????? :)

Okay...*earth to Khanyi*. So, I saw this chick and just couldn't resist asking her for a pic. Talk about taking animal print to a whole new level. LOL
